About The Position

The Financial Analyst – Revenue Cycle is responsible for various billing functions on the Revenue Cycle team. The ideal candidate will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities related to the revenue cycle process, helping to optimize revenue generation and ensure accurate financial performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare or pharmacy benefits.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Microsoft SQL
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
Basic understanding of revenue cycle processes and healthcare finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing revenue cycle data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Support month-end and quarterly financial close processes related to revenue cycle activities.
Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
Prepare and maintain External WellAssist (EWA) client reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of payment and utilization data to internal and external stakeholders.
Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources using SQL and reporting tools to support EWA analytics, financial reporting, and operational decision-making.
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting that provide visibility into EWA payment activity, remittance performance, turnaround times, and client-specific metrics.
Partner with Revenue Cycle, Client Success, Operations, and Finance teams to validate data, resolve reporting discrepancies, and support client reporting requirements related to EWA programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including billing, collections, and operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Help monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.
Maintain and update financial models and forecasting tools related to revenue cycle performance.
