Financial Analyst Principal
About The Position
GDIT has an immediate opportunity for a Financial Analyst Principal. The work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the budgeting and forecasting for the Chief Information Officer - IT organization. You will play a crucial role in planning and analysis to ensure the financial aspects of the Information Technology needs of the company are supported. This role will support the internal IT organization providing financial guidance and reporting for a dynamic, varied IT space including Cyber operations and AI development. You will collaborate with GCIO department managers and your team to advise and work toward accurate financial forecasting. You will drive successful budget planning and forecasting to ensure the CIO IT needs of GDIT are well supported in a timely and accurate fashion. You will utilize Oracle Cloud based reporting tools, SmartView, and internally developed financial systems in addition to robust excel skills to develop forecasting models. Maintain rigorous documentation for continued readiness for DCMA/DCAA audit inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 8+ years of related experience
- Advanced excel and Oracle Skills required.
- US Person
- The ability to support the varied needs of a dynamic team will be crucial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Understanding and proficiency in excel and company forecasting models will be crucial to success.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of Power BI/Tableau strongly encouraged.
- Understanding of Capital Expenditure concepts and fixed asset depreciation extremely useful.
