About The Position

This is a temporary position with the Office of State Human Resources, Temporary Solutions Division, classified as Financial Analyst II (S). The agency's mission is to provide a solid Human Resource management foundation, responsible oversight, and creative solutions through a collaborative approach with all stakeholders to maximize the potential of its employees. This temporary role is located at 1915 Health Services Way in Wake County, with the Department of Health and Human Services - Mental Health. The hourly rate of pay is $40.00, based on education and/or years of relevant work experience. Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their current position to work in a temporary role. All temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time. Individuals hired into a temporary State job must be fully qualified. OSHR supports the Governor's Job Ready initiative and seeks to expand temporary skill sets to enhance qualifications for State government and private sector jobs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, banking, finance, business administration, economics, or related discipline from an accredited institution and 1 year of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the allocations and budget teams with processing all Rural Health Transformation Project (RHTP) allocation letters for the division.
  • Assist with creating the budgets for the Rural Health Transformation Project (RHTP).
  • Perform all related activities in support of processing, tracking, and reporting RHTP requirements.
  • Complete IBIS and NCFS trainings.
  • Learn how to maneuver through the DHHS - Mental Health processes.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Chief Budget Officer and Business Allocations Manager.
