About The Position

We are seeking a Mid-Level Financial Management Analyst/Consultant to support PEO C4I / NAVWAR Command clients in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time, onsite position providing financial management and accounting support to U.S. Navy programs. The selected candidate will work as part of a consulting team to deliver high-quality financial analysis and advisory services to government stakeholders. This role blends independent task execution with close, day-to-day collaboration across client and internal teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
3–5 years of Navy/DoD financial management or relevant federal consulting experience
Ability to obtain a SECRET government security clearance (TS/SCI may be required for select projects)
Non-U.S. citizens are ineligible.
Adherence to federal laws prohibiting marijuana use (recreational, medical, or CBD).

Responsibilities

Enter and maintain financial data in government systems (e.g., Navy ERP, Standard Procurement System, and successor systems)
Assist with budget formulation, cost tracking, and variance analysis
Measure organizational performance and assess program or policy impacts on budgets
Research financial, economic, and regulatory factors affecting program funding and execution
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures governing budget formulation and spend plans
Manage multiple funding types while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders
Prepare and present financial budgets, reports, analyses, and executive-level summaries
Develop recommendations and courses of action (COAs) to address financial challenges
Interpret and apply financial management policies, regulations, and strategic objectives
