About The Position

Responsible for providing financial and accounting support and analysis within a global advanced engineering and manufacturing facility. Specific areas of responsibilities include assisting in forecasting and actual reporting systems; preparing journal entries, employee benefit supporting schedules, managing the US holding company, account analysis, reconciliations and month end reporting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance or Accounting
  • 3-7 years of experience
  • Experience in the Automotive industry required
  • Strong financial and business acumen and comprehension of financial and accounting principles and practices.
  • High energy, self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and critical thinking application.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete projects start-to-finish.
  • MS Office skills, specifically MS Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups/Xlookups).
  • Willing team player to work cross-functionally to assist and resolve financial, accounting and employee issues.
  • Ability to develop and support best practices and process improvements.
  • Strong written and oral communication with ability to discuss observations of financial information with accounting and operational management.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while meeting critical deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of IFS, OneStream, or Power BI is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full US holding company including financials and entries.
  • Develop management reports to provide timely, relevant and actionable information by product line and department.
  • Prepare journal entries (specifically employee benefits), supporting schedules, intercompany transactions, account analysis, reconciliations and month end reporting to assure business transactions are accurately reflected in financial reporting.
  • Assist in the development of budgeting, forecasting and actual reporting systems to produce analysis and accounting information for management decision-making.
  • Assist in development of financial models to support strategic initiatives and financial cycles, including long range plans and annual plans.
  • Develop forecasts and projections for revenues, costs, and cash flows for all key aspects of the business and articulating key business drivers and assumptions that underpin financial projections.
  • Lead and support special projects with a focus on lean operational efficiency and improvements of KPI’s in support of the entity.
  • Ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned by Accounting Management.
