The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a Financial Aid Scholarship Counselor to join the UNLV Financial Aid department. This role is highly visible and assists with the timely processing of scholarship awards, ensuring adherence to donor specifications, institutional policies, and Board of Regents policies. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of Federal Title IV regulations, scholarship administration rules, Millennium Scholarship Program, and other state scholarship/grant programs. The Scholarship Counselor collaborates with various campus departments, external foundations, and state offices to manage scholarship disbursements. This role involves running, monitoring, and interpreting data from spreadsheets and reports. All positions in Academic Affairs contribute to UNLV's core mission of increasing enrollment and promoting equitable student success by enhancing student enrollment, retention, progression, completion, and outcomes.
