About The Position

At Regions, the Financial Advisor establishes a portfolio of bank customers by helping them meet their financial objectives through sound advice and guidance. This advice is based on a thorough understanding of each customer’s current financial standing and short- and long-term goals. The ideal candidate is customer-focused and partnership-centric, with prior branch-based Financial Advisor experience. This position is incentive-eligible and participates in a commission incentive plan. Compensation includes base and variable compensation, with total compensation earning potential of $43,888–$150,000+. The role is full-time and located in Clearwater, Florida.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months of related experience.
Series 7 license.
Series 63 and 65 licenses, or Series 66 license.
Life Insurance License, to be obtained within 60 days from the employment start date.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), or Certified Retirement Specialist (CRS) designation.
Two years of Financial Advisory experience.

Responsibilities

Provide a broad range of investment solutions and products to help meet customer goals, including in-depth guidance through financial planning services.
Identify and follow up on opportunities to establish customer relationships through prospecting, lead utilization, and local market and community involvement.
Build and maintain a strong client network and pipeline.
Demonstrate expert-level portfolio planning skills and comprehensive industry and investment knowledge.
Conduct or participate in investment performance and relationship reviews.
Keep junior-level staff informed about investment products and opportunities.
Adhere to compliance requirements and follow corporate and industry protocols.
