Financial Advisor - Teachers Federal Credit Union
About The Position
TruStage is hiring a Financial Advisor to work at Teachers Federal Credit Union in Manorville, New York, serving credit union members while associated with LPL Financial. The advisor will support clients through different stages of their financial lives, service an existing book of business, and develop new client relationships through the credit union’s referral system, member base, and branch territories. The role offers access to investment products from third-party sponsors and resources, technology, tools, and support from LPL Financial. Employment is with TruStage, not LPL Financial; LPL Financial holds the advisor’s securities and insurance licenses in accordance with regulatory requirements. The position pays a base salary in the range of $45,000–$75,000 and is also eligible for sales incentive compensation. Salary depends on factors including the applicant’s skills, experience, and work location.
Requirements
- Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses required.
- Insurance license required.
- Three or more years of investment sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Service an existing book of business.
- Build a client base through the credit union’s referral system and member base.
- Help members and families with financial solutions and support their financial goals.
- Create client solutions tailored to clients’ goals without proprietary products.
- Develop business using the credit union’s branch territories, member relationships, and community standing.
