Financial Advisor - PenFed Credit Union
About The Position
The Financial Advisor will work for TruStage at PenFed Credit Union in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and be associated with LPL Financial. The advisor will support credit union members through financial solutions at every stage of their financial lives, while growing an advisory business and serving the local community. The role offers the ability to service an existing book of business, build a client base through the credit union’s referral system and member base, and serve members across several branch territories with significant deposits. Advisors can develop client solutions without proprietary products and draw on LPL’s tools, technology, services, and expertise. The advisor partnership includes access to proprietary technology, customized services, an open-architecture platform with investment products from third-party sponsors, and firm resources to help create solutions aligned with clients’ goals. Employment is with TruStage, not LPL Financial; LPL Financial would hold the advisor’s securities and insurance licenses in accordance with regulatory requirements. The position offers a salary range of $45,000–$75,000, dependent on factors including skills, experience, and work location, and is also eligible for sales incentive compensation.
Requirements
- Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63/65) licenses required.
- Insurance license required.
- Three or more years of investment sales experience.
