Financial Advisor - PenFed Credit Union
About The Position
The Financial Advisor will work for TruStage at PenFed Credit Union in Humacao, Puerto Rico, and be associated with LPL Financial. The role supports PenFed Credit Union members with financial solutions throughout every stage of their financial lives. The advisor can service an existing book of business and develop a client base through the credit union’s referral system, member base, branch territories, deposit base, and community presence. The advisor can create client solutions without proprietary products and draw on LPL Financial’s tools, technology, customized services, open-architecture platform, and firmwide resources. The position is employed by TruStage, not LPL Financial; LPL Financial would hold the advisor’s securities and insurance licenses in accordance with regulatory requirements. The listed pay range is $45,000–$75,000, dependent on factors including the applicant’s skills, experience, and work location. The position is also eligible for sales incentive compensation.
Requirements
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65, are required.
- An insurance license is required.
- Three or more years of investment sales experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Service an existing book of business upon hire.
- Build a client base through the credit union’s referral system and member base.
- Support PenFed Credit Union members in pursuing their financial goals.
- Create client solutions tailored to clients’ goals without proprietary products.
- Develop business using the credit union’s branch territories, deposit base, reputation, and community standing.
