About The Position

Beacon Bank is seeking a Financial Advisor to join its Investment Program in Albany, New York. The advisor will help clients at every stage of their financial lives by developing client relationships and providing financial solutions. The role offers access to the bank’s referral system, branch territories with significant deposit bases, and opportunities to develop new clients through the bank’s existing client base. Advisors can create solutions without proprietary products and grow their businesses using LPL Financial’s tools, technology, and support, along with the bank’s community reputation and standing.

The position is employed by Beacon Bank, not LPL Financial. LPL Financial provides access to proprietary technology and customized services, an open-architecture platform with thousands of investment products from third-party sponsors, and firm-wide resources and expertise. In accordance with regulatory requirements, LPL Financial holds the advisor’s securities and insurance licenses.

Requirements

• Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63/65) licenses are required.
• Insurance license required.
• At least three years of investment sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a client base using the bank’s referral system and existing client base.
• Help clients identify and meet their financial goals by creating client-specific financial solutions.
• Develop the advisor’s business using the bank’s branch territories and LPL Financial’s tools, technology, and support.
