About The Position

Beacon Bank is hiring a Financial Advisor to join its Investment Program in Albany, NY, associated with LPL Financial. Employment is with Beacon Bank, not LPL Financial; LPL Financial holds the advisor’s securities and insurance licenses in accordance with regulatory requirements.

The Investment Program serves the local community with a broad range of financial services. The advisor will help individuals and families with financial solutions throughout their lives and will have opportunities to build a business using the bank’s referral system, branch territories, and client base. The position offers access to LPL’s tools, technology, support, open-architecture platform, third-party investment products, and firmwide resources to develop solutions tailored to clients’ goals.

The pay range is $100,000–$150,000, dependent on factors including the applicant’s skills, experience, and work location. The position is also eligible for sales incentive compensation.

Requirements

• Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63/65) licenses required.
• Insurance license required.
• Three or more years of investment sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Help clients and families identify financial solutions and pursue their financial goals.
• Build and grow a client base through the bank’s referral system, branch territories, and existing client base.
• Develop client solutions tailored to individual goals using investment products from third-party sponsors.
• Grow the financial advisory business with LPL’s tools, technology, services, and support.
