About The Position
Manufacturing company based in Linbro Park has an opportunity available for an experienced Financial Accountant to be responsible for the full accounting function from data input to management reports and data analysis. Successful incumbent will have a completed B.Com (Accounting) / similar degree, coupled with a minimum of 3-5 years related commercial experience preferably within the Manufacturing sector. Completed SAICA Articles will be highly advantageous.

- Completed B.Com (Accounting) / similar degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years related commercial experience
- Experience preferably within the Manufacturing sector
- Knowledge of SAGE X3 desired

Responsibilities
- Review and approve all non-stock and CAPEX purchase orders
- Approve and review all manual journals in line with manual JV SOP
- Analysis and review of the GL (IFRS and USGAAP)
- Management reporting pack preparation
- Ensure continuous update of all policies and procedures
- Compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations and finance-related regulations, guidelines and codes of best practice such as SARS, STATSSA; SARB, Companies Act, VAT Act; SOX Act, Tax Act
- Maintenance and accuracy of the Wear and Tear Register
- B/S reconciliations
- Full fixed assets management
- Assist the Financial Manager and Financial Executive with ad hoc tasks as required
