About The Position

Anteris is a science-driven structural heart company that is redefining expectations and advancing the field through cutting-edge solutions focused on restoring native-like physiology versus treating symptoms of structural heart disease. We are currently developing a new class of TAVR designed to mimic the performance of a healthy aortic valve. With offices in Minneapolis, MN, US; Geneva, Switzerland; and Brisbane and Perth, Australia, we have a growing and inclusive team. We are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join a publicly listed medical technology company operating in a regulated, international environment. This role provides exposure to technical accounting, SEC reporting, and governance standards under Nasdaq and SEC requirements. This is an office‑based position within a collaborative finance team focused on delivering accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective cross‑functional partnership. Reporting to the Director of Finance Operations, you will support month‑end close, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance, working closely with R&D, operations, and corporate teams.

Requirements

  • CPA designation (strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably including Big Four public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting
  • Experience supporting SEC reporting for a public company
  • SOX compliance experience strongly preferred
  • Background in life sciences, MedTech, biotech, or R&D‑focused environments a plus
  • Detail‑oriented, technically strong, and comfortable in an office‑based, collaborative setting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance‑sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with SEC reporting, including Forms 10‑Q and 10‑K
  • Support external audits and quarterly reviews
  • Assist with SOX documentation and internal control testing
  • Partner with operational teams on accounting for R&D, manufacturing, and clinical activities
  • Support intercompany accounting, cash management, and statutory reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
