About The Position

At PwC, our people in finance consulting specialise in providing consulting services related to financial management and strategy. These individuals analyse client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals. In financial operations at PwC, you will specialise in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within organisations. Your work will involve assessing financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement solutions to streamline financial operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs. You will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services.

Requirements

  • Working in a professional services environment (a combination of industry, management consulting, and/or software implementation)
  • Hands‑on experience with one or more EPM platforms, including OneStream, Oracle, Anaplan, Tagetik, Board, Adaptive, etc.)
  • Managing and executing large finance, enterprise, and/or data architecture transformation programs
  • Leading or contributing to the design, build, migration, and testing of OneStream for multi-dimensional data models (dimensions, hierarchies, attributes); input template and report build; Data Integration and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) concepts; understanding of calculations (allocation, top-down spreading, currencies); and workflow, data permissions, and security
  • Leading the configuration of OneStream, including but not limited to: Workflows, Data Sources, Transformation Rules, Business Rules and Calculations, Dashboards, Data Management Sequences, Cube/Master Data, and System Security
  • Understanding of core accounting areas, including Performance Management (executive dashboards, management reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting, analytics and decision support); Record-to-Report (financial close, consolidation, financial reporting, fixed assets, inventory, payroll); Order-to-Cash (order entry, customer credit, invoicing, accounts receivable, collections); and Procure-to-Pay (procurement, accounts payable, invoicing)
  • Possessing a client service orientation, such as building solid relationships with clients, approaching clients in an organized manner, and demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks
  • Working in an Agile project management environment for tool implementation projects
  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, and an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

Responsibilities

  • Work on challenging and rewarding Finance Transformation – EPM engagements with multidisciplinary teams
  • Advise clients on optimizing financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and dashboards
  • Conduct organizational diagnostics on finance and performance management processes
  • Define business requirements for OneStream application configuration and implementation
  • Support the design, build, migration, and testing of OneStream multi‑dimensional data models, including dimensions, hierarchies, and attributes
  • Configure OneStream components, including: Workflows, Data Sources, Transformation Rules, Business Rules and Calculations, Dashboards, Data Management Sequences, Cube and metadata configuration, System security
  • Develop OneStream input templates, reports, and analytical dashboards
  • Support data integration and import processes, including mappings, validations, and reconciliations
  • Implement OneStream calculations leveraging business rules and formulas (allocations, top‑down spreading, currency logic, etc.)
  • Support vendor and EPM software selection activities, including business requirements gathering
  • Prepare, review, and contribute to high‑quality engagement deliverables, ensuring they meet PwC and client quality standards
  • Identify, monitor, and help resolve project issues and risks
  • Work within Agile project delivery environments for EPM implementation initiatives
  • Establish credibility with existing and new clients by demonstrating subject‑matter expertise in EPM tools and finance processes
  • Participate in business development activities
  • Team with PwC colleagues across other lines of service in support of client needs for Finance Consulting services
  • Support the development of thought leadership and point of view materials related to EPM and Finance Transformation
  • Share EPM knowledge and delivery experience across the PwC network
  • Support junior team members through collaboration, informal coaching, and knowledge sharing
  • Actively participate in learning, development, and capability building activities within the EPM practice
