About The Position

This role is part of an 18-month Graduate Programme starting on 1 September 2027, designed for early-career talent. The program offers hands-on experience in the reinsurance industry, with rotations into different local teams and tailored training. The Finance Transformation Analyst will gain a broad perspective on Finance operations and evolution within a global organization, contributing to initiatives that shape the future of Finance at Swiss Re. This involves supporting transformation initiatives to enhance processes, strengthen controls, improve decision-making, and drive operational efficiency. The role offers exposure to change management, process improvement, governance, and finance operations, developing skills in project execution, stakeholder management, and transformation within a dynamic business environment. The Americas Carrier Management team, responsible for reporting, consolidation, analysis, and operational support, is the specific team for this role. This team is committed to transforming Finance through modern technologies, automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.

Requirements

• Completed, or about to complete, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Project Management, Business, or a related field. Relevant masters or doctoral degrees may also be considered.
• Demonstrated academic rigor through course selection and performance; a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 is expected.
• Intellectually curious and motivated to understand how processes, technologies, and people work together to drive business outcomes.
• Think analytically, solve problems creatively, and enjoy identifying opportunities to improve the way work gets done.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
• Communicate clearly and confidently, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and create impactful presentations and communications.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills and technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic Finance transformation initiatives that improve processes, controls, and operational effectiveness
• Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, track action items, and support issue resolution across multiple workstreams
• Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to deliver key project milestones and objectives
• Document and analyze business processes, leveraging technology and innovative approaches to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Prepare updates, presentations, and communications for Finance leadership and senior stakeholders
• Support governance and reporting activities related to transformation programs and strategic initiatives
• Perform and monitor centralized internal controls that contribute to a strong risk and control environment
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that drive continuous improvement, process excellence, and innovation within Finance
• Apply data, digital tools, and emerging technologies to support process optimization and business decision-making
• Collaborate across teams and functions to build relationships, share knowledge, and support successful project outcomes
