The purpose of this position is to perform responsible and specialized clerical work to include entering information into computer, using keyboard, preparing correspondence and documents, copying, proofreading, maintaining electronic and manual file systems, answering phones, providing customer service and assisting with clerical and administrative functions. The position performs a variety of clerical assignments in the retention, storage, retrieval, indexing and dissemination of documents or records. This job works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
