About The Position

The Finance Rotation Development Program (FRDP) provides high-potential future leaders with exposure to critical functions within Genentech's Finance organization. This is achieved through a series of rotational assignments in areas such as Commercial Finance, Technical Operations Finance, R&D Finance, and Controlling & Accounting. Participants may have the opportunity for an international assignment in Basel, Switzerland. These assignments are designed to offer challenging tasks and provide training in both technical and leadership skills, with the ultimate goal of developing talented future finance leaders within the company. Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Business Administration
• 4-6 years of work experience prior to graduate school in finance, consulting, or drug development
• Prior work experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Proven ability and experience in effectively interacting with executives and senior leaders
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to functions critical to the Finance organization at Genentech through rotational assignments.
• Participate in challenging assignments designed to provide training in technical and leadership areas.
• Develop into a highly talented future finance leader within the company.
• Conduct rotational assignments in Commercial Finance, Technical Operations Finance, R&D Finance, and Controlling & Accounting.
• Potentially conduct a rotational assignment in Basel, Switzerland.
