About The Position

We are seeking Portuguese-speaking finance professionals based in Portugal or Brazil for a specialized part-time consulting opportunity. This role focuses on remote consulting tasks related to finance research, AI response evaluation, market and business reasoning assessment, and high-quality project execution. Selected consultants will leverage their finance expertise to evaluate written outputs, review investment or business reasoning, identify gaps in financial analysis, and provide structured feedback based on detailed project criteria.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional finance experience in a strong investment, advisory, research, or corporate finance environment.
• Experience in hedge funds, private equity, investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, venture capital, or related finance roles.
• Portuguese fluency and strong familiarity with Portugal, Brazil, Lusophone markets, or regional finance and business context.
• Strong analytical judgment across business models, markets, financial statements, investment theses, valuation logic, and risk assessment.
• Ability to evaluate finance-related written content with accuracy, nuance, and commercial awareness.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback.
• High attention to detail and comfort applying project-specific guidelines consistently.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous, project-based environment.
• Academic or professional background in finance, economics, accounting, business, statistics, mathematics, data science, engineering, or a related analytical field is highly relevant.
• Professional experience at investment firms, advisory firms, financial institutions, corporates, or venture-backed environments may be especially valuable.
• Experience with financial modeling, market research, valuation, due diligence, investment memos, sector analysis, or strategic finance is highly relevant.
• Portugal- or Brazil-based professional experience, or strong familiarity with regional financial markets and companies, may support project fit.

Nice To Haves

• Experience preparing investment memos, equity research reports, transaction materials, financial models, market maps, or due diligence summaries.
• Familiarity with Portuguese or Brazilian public markets, private markets, corporate structures, venture ecosystems, or sector-specific business trends.
• Comfort reviewing financial assumptions, business logic, valuation reasoning, and market interpretation.
• Experience with structured research workflows, written analysis, quality review, or rubric-based evaluation.
• Strong ability to identify missing context, weak evidence, unsupported conclusions, or incomplete financial reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Review finance-related prompts, scenarios, or written outputs involving investment analysis, business strategy, corporate finance, or market reasoning.
• Apply professional finance judgment to assess whether outputs are accurate, commercially reasonable, and well-supported.
• Evaluate financial logic, assumptions, risk considerations, valuation reasoning, market context, and business interpretation.
• Support research tasks involving Portugal, Brazil, Lusophone markets, or Portuguese-language business context when relevant.
• Review AI-generated finance outputs for accuracy, completeness, reasoning quality, and professional relevance.
• Identify unsupported claims, weak assumptions, incomplete analysis, calculation issues, or missing business context.
• Assess whether responses reflect appropriate finance terminology, investment judgment, and structured analytical thinking.
• Grade outputs against project-specific rubrics and detailed evaluation criteria.
• Provide clear, concise, and well-supported written feedback on finance-related outputs.
• Explain evaluation decisions with consistency, attention to detail, and professional finance judgment.
• Follow detailed task instructions and apply review criteria accurately.
• Participate in onboarding, calibration, or project alignment activities when required.
