About The Position

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced finance professionals with hands-on research expertise across equity research, macroeconomics, financial markets, trading, credit, compliance, or related areas. This long-term role supports an advanced AI initiative focused on evaluating complex finance and market-related questions. Selected professionals will research real-world financial topics, assess the quality and accuracy of analytical responses, assign structured scores, and support their evaluations with evidence from authoritative financial and market sources.

Requirements

• Substantial professional experience in finance or financial research
• Hands-on expertise in one or more areas such as equity research, investment analysis, macroeconomics, markets, trading, credit, or compliance
• Strong ability to research and analyse complex financial questions
• Experience working with authoritative financial, regulatory, market, or company information
• Excellent financial reasoning and attention to detail
• Ability to evaluate competing interpretations and identify unsupported conclusions
• Strong written communication skills
• Confidence explaining and defending analytical judgments with evidence

Nice To Haves

• Professional equity research experience
• Background in investment management or securities analysis
• Experience covering macroeconomic or market developments
• Trading or capital-markets experience
• Credit research or credit analysis expertise
• Experience with financial compliance or regulatory research

Responsibilities

• Analyse real-world questions involving finance, markets, companies, credit, regulation, or economic developments
• Conduct detailed research using authoritative and relevant financial sources
• Interpret financial information, market data, disclosures, and supporting documentation
• Apply professional finance judgment to complex analytical questions
• Identify material facts, assumptions, and potential weaknesses in financial reasoning
• Review analytical responses for factual accuracy, completeness, relevance, and reasoning quality
• Determine whether conclusions are appropriately supported by available evidence
• Identify unsupported assumptions, incorrect interpretations, or missing material information
• Assess whether analysis reflects professional standards expected in finance
• Distinguish strong substantive reasoning from superficial or incomplete responses
• Grade finance-related work using structured project criteria
• Provide clear written justification for each assigned score
• Support assessments with evidence from authoritative sources
• Verify that cited information accurately supports the relevant conclusion
• Apply consistent evaluation standards across repeated assignments
• Work across areas such as equity research, macroeconomic analysis, markets and trading, credit, and compliance
• Evaluate company, sector, market, and economic research where relevant
• Review financial reasoning within the candidate's areas of professional expertise
• Identify domain-specific errors that may be missed by generalist reviewers
• Communicate technical financial findings clearly and concisely
