Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multi-task and be organized.
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team on multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with a remote/in-office team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to interface with all internal departments and team members across the organizational hierarchy.
  • Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sr. Finance/Accounting Manager on projects focused on financial reporting, accounting operations & transaction processing.
  • Support key business processes such as Month-end close, Business Planning, Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Gain valuable experience through improving communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Receive direct, hands-on exposure to senior PPNDA leaders.
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation, tracking and clean-up.
  • Lead the creation and upkeep of the PPNDA Finance/Accounting Digital SOP library.
  • Support project team activities as assigned by the project managers.
  • Assist with month-end closing responsibilities and any post close reporting.
  • Support the team during the Business Planning cycle and preparation of data.
