About The Position

Voro is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Finance & Operations Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations and general office coordination. This role is focused on transactional accounting, record maintenance, and administrative support to ensure smooth financial and operational processes. This position is best suited for someone with hands-on accounting experience who is comfortable executing routine tasks accurately and consistently while supporting broader office needs. You will play a key part in keeping our invoicing, close support, and reconciliations organized and reliable, while also helping the office run smoothly. This role reports to the Director of Agency Operations and works closely with our Accounting Manager and Operations team. You will be a trusted internal partner who helps keep the details tight, identifies issues early, and follows through until things are resolved. This position is built for someone who values stability, mastery, and meaningful ownership. Growth here comes from improving systems, streamlining workflows, introducing smart tools and automation, and expanding what you own over time as the agency evolves. It is not about chasing a traditional title ladder.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized and dependable with the ability to manage recurring deadlines
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment with sensitive financial/employee data

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online and strong understanding of GAAP

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor bills and manage Accounts Payable through Bill.com
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable, including preparing, sending, and tracking client invoices
  • Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and assist with bank reconciliations
  • Support monthly close by organizing documentation and preparing account reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll processing support through BambooHR, ensuring data accuracy
  • Maintain organized digital financial records and supporting documentation
  • Update internal tracking spreadsheets
  • Support preparation and distribution of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Media Authorizations
  • Coordinate meals and catering for internal meetings and company events
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating in-office logistics
  • Order office supplies and manage relationships with office vendors
  • Maintain organization of shared drives and internal documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to accounting, operations, and leadership
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support finance and office operations
