About The Position

As a Finance Operating Model Strategist - Consultant, you will be part of the CFO & Enterprise Value team, partnering with Finance executives to drive value across the enterprise. This role focuses on helping clients modernize their finance functions by setting vision, strategy, goals, and key outcomes. You will act as a problem-solver, diagnosing client needs and understanding that empowered people, optimized processes, and enabling technologies are crucial for successful transformation. The work involves consulting with internal and external teams, managing project risks and economics, and ensuring client buy-in. You will be a trusted advisor and a collaborative team member, creating strategies and blueprints that leverage advanced operating models, processes, and emerging technologies like FinTech apps, AI/ML/GenAI to improve operations and redefine work. This includes contributing to digital transformations, driving efficiency, effectiveness, experience, and growth by identifying necessary skillsets, data, operating models, process automation, analytics, and workflows. Staying abreast of current trends, technologies, and regulations in digital finance, analytics, and the CFO ecosystem is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of strategy consulting experience with a focus on designing and implementing Finance operating models
• Strategic mindset with a strong aptitude for connecting Finance vision to enterprise strategy.
• Exposure to working with AI, GenAI, machine learning, and automation and their current applications
• Functional expertise in Finance, including accounting, FP&A, reporting, and data & analytics—coupled with a strong understanding of Finance’s interdependencies across the enterprise
• Experience working with major enterprise transformations driven by technology implementations (ERP, EPM), cost take-out initiatives, and/or operating model changes
• Demonstrated ability to participate in engagements, working closely with clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Experience in one of the following industries: Banking, Insurance, Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Health, High-Tech Industrial, or Utilities
• Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Economics, Finance, or Business Administration

Nice To Haves

• You have an MBA or other advanced degree (including accounting designations such as CPA)
• You’ve worked with or are conversant in Finance technology and data solutions across accounting, tax, treasury, planning, and reporting & analytics.
• You have experience both in Strategy Consulting and Industry roles
• You have experience designing and implementing enterprise operating models

• Stay on top of current trends, technologies, and regulations influencing digital finance, analytics, and the CFO ecosystem.
