About The Position
American Heritage School is seeking a part-time Finance Officer to support accounts receivable and company credit card administration as our office expands.
Requirements
- Previous experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Competent writing and communication skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion in handling sensitive financial information
- Willingness to learn new systems and skills as the office expands
Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable: prepare and send invoices and statements, post payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile receivable accounts and assist with month-end close
- Administer company credit card accounts, including issuing and closing cards and setting and monitoring card budgets
- Review card transactions for accuracy, proper coding, and policy compliance, and collect supporting receipts and documentation from cardholders
- Prepare routine financial reports and provide clerical support on finance matters
