About The Position

Figure is an AI Robotics company building autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human-level intelligence. We are based in North San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. We are looking for a Finance Manager. In summary, the role will have responsibilities spread between FP&A and Strategic Finance.

Requirements

• A track record as a proactive self-learner is more important than specific education.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance roles, with a balanced background in FP&A, strategic finance within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex financial and data concepts clearly.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in Deeptech e.g. AI.

Responsibilities

• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business objectives.
• Provide data-driven financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models incorporating extensive data analysis.
• Partner with various departments to understand their data needs and solve capital allocation problems using analytical methods.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial and data analytics reports to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes through data analytics and automation.
