About The Position

AutoNation is hiring a Finance Manager (F&I Manager) to support customers through the vehicle purchase process. The role makes credit decisions, submits deals to lenders for approval, and helps resolve disconnects in the sales process. Working in a no-haggle sales environment, the F&I Manager determines customers’ financing needs, presents transparent pricing and product options, processes finance transactions, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. The position also supports sales goals, customer loyalty, referrals, and timely, compliant administration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and transition them from Sales to Finance during their vehicle purchase process.
• Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships.
• Determine customers’ financing needs and payment options through a consultative interview process.
• Present customers with a fully transparent pricing menu detailing financing options and products.
• Make credit decisions and submit deals to lenders for approval.
• Process finance transactions in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers and develop a base of referrals.
• Set and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Develop superior product knowledge to help customers effectively.
• Ensure administrative processes are handled promptly and in compliance with company policy.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
