About The Position

The role is responsible for the daily preparation and execution of food items at the hot station and assisting other kitchen areas as needed. Candidates should be passionate about food, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and committed to culinary and cleanliness standards.

Requirements

• Current Food Handler Certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to or over 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with exposure to heat, cold, and water.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and work shifts up to 12 hours.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and consistency.

Nice To Haves

• Prior line cook or sauté experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare food items as directed, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Restock items and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout each shift.
• Follow Spinato’s recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and organizational practices.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
• Follow food handling procedures outlined by the local health department.
• Support teammates and perform additional duties as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude in a high-energy environment.
