About The Position

Intuitive Health is seeking an accounting or finance professional to manage financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting for assigned joint venture (JV) and management services agreement (MSA) emergency and urgent care facility operations. The position offers career growth within a private-equity-backed healthcare managed service organization focused on nationwide expansion. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical and financial skills, an ownership mindset, and the leadership ability to establish and manage financial operations in coordination with partners.

The role is part of the Corporate Accounting/Finance team at the corporate service center in Plano, Texas. It reports to the VP of Finance and works closely with the Operations team and partners’ Finance and Accounting teams. Provider-based healthcare finance experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements, how they relate to one another, and the business operations they represent.
• Experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods, such as operations analytics and financial forecasting.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects for competing internal and external clients.
• Ability to take ownership and accountability for tasks and projects, including timely delivery of analyses and quality of final work.
• Superior judgment, analytical abilities, and decision-making skills.
• Expert-level computer skills, including expert proficiency in Excel, advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, and intermediate proficiency in Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Work with hospital partner Finance teams and Intuitive Health Finance staff to manage partner-sourced financial reporting for assigned JV and MSA operations.
• Review hospital partner accounting records and data to support accurate, comprehensive financial reporting and related operational metrics.
• Analyze and explain key drivers of financial performance; periodically perform revenue cycle analysis; and present analysis, insight, and recommended action to the management team.
• Manage monthly reporting and lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews with hospital partners and Intuitive Health management.
• Support reporting requests from the healthcare-focused private equity investor.
• Lead or coordinate the annual budgeting process and prepare annual budgets for assigned partner operations with differing fiscal year-ends.
• Coordinate and guide new JV and MSA partners through Finance-related implementation efforts.
• Identify operational and financial improvement opportunities and coordinate with hospital partner and Operations teams to implement them.
