About The Position

AIR Communities is seeking a Finance Manager to join their East Operations Team in Bethesda, MD. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing critical Operations Finance data to increase revenue and minimize costs. The Finance Manager will diagnose complex situations and present possible solutions to business leaders, guide regional leaders on financial performance, and provide direction and support for maintaining budget responsibility. The position involves participating in monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic planning. Additionally, the role will tackle challenging problems in support of company financial and analytics disciplines such as FP&A, Capital Planning, Revenue Management, Decision Support, and Acquisitions. The Finance Manager will also assist with analysis related to significant transactions like property sales, acquisitions, and capital expenditures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance and Operations.
Strong financial acumen
Strong data modeling experience
Strong business writing skills

Nice To Haves

Real Estate experience is a plus.
Experience with SQL Server and databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyze critical Operations Finance data to increase revenue and minimize costs.
