About The Position

The Finance Manager (CSS) role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and providing on-site financial support to the site General Manager, Director Finance, and the Operational leaders for the KCM Clinical & Specialty Services. Our facility also offers comprehensive clinical packaging services including clinical supply management, package engineering, clinical manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging, global distribution and logistics, and return/destruction services. The facility features an isolated potent suite and DEA Schedule I-V controlled drug storage to handle even your most challenging products.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance from an accredited institution, required
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in finance and accounting
  • Minimum three years’ supporting manufacturing and distribution entities
  • Minimum three years’ experience in cost accounting

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems JD Edward (JDE), preferred
  • Experience with planning and consolidation systems, OneStream, preferred
  • Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly accounting, forecast & reporting processes to ensure that Corporate, Business Unit, and Site objectives and timelines are met
  • Support the Manufacturing Accounting process, managing work orders, routers and costing deliverables
  • Lead annual Pharma and Consumer Health (PCH) Site and Functional Budget process including development/analysis of budget targets, developing, communicating and driving the budget timeline, creating budget templates, creating/maintaining budget roll-up files, preparing budget deliverables for Site Management and BU Leadership Team
  • Coordinate inventory related activities with management and Inventory Control, including analysis, reporting, annual wall to wall inventory count, cycle count activities; inventory adjustment needs; and help ensure overall inventory accuracy
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with inventory control and supply chain
  • Assist the General Manager and Director of Finance in establishing metrics, performing budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial/operational analysis related to fixed asset purchases, base cost management, working capital management, headcount control, and operational performance
  • Ensure SOX related activities are conducted as documented, help coordinate changes as required, and work with corporate as required in the review and testing of SOX related processes; this includes working with both internal and external auditors
