About The Position
This role involves serving as a specialist in high-stakes areas such as nuclear medicine, oncology, and cardiology to ensure medication plans are tailored to the patient. The pharmacist will act as a consultant to medical staff and clinical leadership, providing drug information and recommending formulary alternatives. A key responsibility is reviewing orders to identify and resolve potential drug-related issues and overseeing the technical pharmacy team, including serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
Requirements
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
- Outpatient pharmacy experience
