We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee core accounting operations across Talon North America. This role will manage the day-to-day accounting function, ensure the integrity of financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls as the business continues to scale. The Finance Manager will partner closely with FP&A, AR/AP, and senior leadership, supporting month-end close, audit readiness, and process improvements.

  • CPA Qualified
  • 5-7 years PQE

  • Microsoft Office Intermediate Excel Proficiency
  • Intermediate Power Point Proficiency

  • Experience in Media sector preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrity of financial reporting, providing clear and insightful P&L commentary for management and board reporting.
  • Review and oversee monthly balance sheet and intercompany positions, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of differences.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital performance.
  • Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting automation to strengthen controls and efficiency across the function.
  • Lead audit readiness and compliance, partnering with the accounting team to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy.
  • Deliver variance analysis and performance insights against budget and prior year, identifying and communicating risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
  • Own pipeline reporting, working closely with planning teams to track billing / revenue visibility
  • Develop and maintain management reporting frameworks, ensuring KPIs and dashboards reflect the key drivers of business performance.
  • Drive improvements to forecasting tools and data integrity across the FP&A function.

  • Dependent upon experience, the salary for this role can range from $125,000-$140,000
