About The Position

The Finance Manager reports monthly, quarterly, and yearly results and develops forecasting and planning activities. The role partners with cross-functional brand partners to understand the financial impact of key projects and initiatives and overall business objectives. It also provides daily support and direction to a Senior Finance Analyst and reviews key work performed by that analyst.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 6 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong analytical, data-mining, and report-creation abilities.
• Ability to develop financial models.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree.
• CFA.
• CPA.
• Experience with Essbase, Business Objects, Analyst/Inform, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly results analysis and maintain effective controls over brand profit and loss.
• Review actual results monthly and develop a thorough understanding of the drivers behind them.
• Coordinate variance explanations and review them for reasonableness.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packets for brand leadership, including insights into business drivers.
• Develop the annual plan and quarterly forecast.
• Develop or review forecasts for line items and ensure adequate action plans are in place to achieve the forecast.
• Create clear KPI reports or dashboards and provide actionable insights to improve results.
• Participate in special projects and create ad hoc analyses.
• Partner with brand teams on ad hoc projects.
• Provide daily support and direction to the Senior Finance Analyst and review key work.
