About The Position

Amazon is looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to join our Operations Product Development (OPD) Central FP&A team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile team, working closely with executives and collaborating across various Product Finance and horizontal teams. As a Finance Manager, you will drive financial analysis and reporting for key business initiatives, develop and maintain complex financial models, provide strategic insights to support decision-making, perform compliance controllership, communicate financial results and projections to senior leadership, and identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities. This role offers significant visibility within the organization and the chance to make a substantial impact to the Devices business. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
• 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Nice To Haves

• MBA, or CPA
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
• 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL

Responsibilities

• Consolidating and presenting financial summaries
• Building forward looking frameworks and proactively prepare leadership for what is around the corner
• Developing scalable and efficient financial processes as well as automation that support the business
• Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
• Tracking initiatives that span multiple business functions
• Coordinating and supporting forecast planning and month-end close processes
• Performing compliance controllership
• Leading ad hoc financial analyses and projects
