About The Position

Ambiq is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to act as the financial translator between Ambiq's chip business and leadership. The manager will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Management, and Operations leadership, influencing product funding and prioritization. This is a high-visibility position with direct exposure to executive leadership and investor relations. The role involves shaping product investment decisions through stage-gate reviews and business case development, with a clear path for growth into broader FP&A leadership. Travel to Taiwan is expected to collaborate with operations counterparts, including late-night calls to align across time zones.

  • Strong business partnering skills — comfortable in a room with engineers, operators, and executives alike, and can translate financial complexity into a clear story
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, verifiable via a modeling exercise or portfolio walkthrough
  • A detail-oriented, analytical mindset paired with the initiative to drive things to closure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
