About The Position

This role is responsible for the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP for the North America Offshore region, Drilling Services & Drilling Completion Fluids. The position ensures internal controls are properly working and manages the business cycle, including the 3-year plan, budget, and forecasts at each level of the organization. Key responsibilities include defining KPIs to measure performance across Operations, MFG., R&D, ENG, and Supply Chain, analyzing performance, and proposing action plans to improve profitability and cash generation. The role also involves supporting functional managers with financial advice, assisting NA Ops Leaders with commercial finance responsibilities, and leading or contributing to projects. Some tasks may include journal entry preparation and account reconciliations. Due to deadlines, extra hours are expected, especially during quarter end.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Finance).
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP for the North America Offshore region, Drilling Services & Drilling Completion Fluids.
• Ensuring internal controls are properly working.
• Managing the business cycle: 3-year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization.
• Defining KPIs to measure performance in all areas of the organization (Operations, MFG., R&D, ENG, Supply Chain).
• Analyzing performance and proposing action plans to improve profitability and cash generation, as well as corrective action plans.
• Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes, and procedures.
• Supporting overall NA Ops Leaders with commercial finance responsibilities focused on product line and customer revenue analysis.
• Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems.
• Leading as a project leader of medium-sized projects or being a major contributor to bigger projects.
• Journal entries preparation, account reconciliations, weekly revenue/margin files set up and distribution.
