About The Position

This role is for a Finance Manager within the Datacenter division, focusing on strategic business partnership, P&L leadership, performance analysis, and investment strategy. The position involves owning the North America Data Center P&L, partnering with Hyperscale customers, developing financial models, and contributing to executive-level presentations. The role also includes influencing pricing strategies, leading capacity planning, and championing digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
  • MBA preferred or commitment to complete within role.
  • Professional qualification (CPA, CFA) highly valued.
  • 4-8 years of progressive finance experience with demonstrated acceleration.
  • Prior experience in strategic/commercial finance, FP&A, or Operations Finance.
  • Track record of leading complex projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting customer or key account P&Ls, including pricing and commercial terms, preferred.
  • Evidence of rapid career progression and expanding responsibilities.
  • Experience with IBP or S&OP processes highly desirable.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise.
  • Executive-level communication, presentation, and financial storytelling skills.
  • Strategic thinking with pragmatic execution ability.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential through prior team or project leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business judgment.
  • Change management and transformation experience.
  • Digital finance and advanced analytics proficiency, including Power BI or similar tools.
  • Comfortable facilitating both large and small audience meetings, driving action in the business through direct or indirect influence.

Responsibilities

  • Own the North America Data Center P&L forecast, preparing and loading each forecast cycle (monthly forecasts, quarterly reforecasts, and the annual operating plan) in partnership with the Finance Director.
  • Serve as the embedded finance lead with the core business teams for assigned Hyperscale customers, owning customer-specific revenue, margin, and pricing outlooks.
  • Develop expertise in IBP processes, fostering continued process improvement and deep understanding of customer-specific unconstrained and constrained demand outputs.
  • Own the development of scenario analyses for strategic alternatives, presenting directly to the BU leadership team and the Commercial Review Team in IBP.
  • Build and maintain strategic financial models that evaluate market expansion, product innovation, and operational excellence opportunities.
  • Contribute to the global Data Center financial story, integrating North America results into the consolidated view and translating results, risks, and opportunities into a clear and compelling narrative for executive leadership.
  • Lead monthly business reviews for assigned customers and product lines.
  • Create and deliver C-suite level presentations on business performance, strategic initiatives, and investment recommendations.
  • Develop and implement early-warning systems that identify performance gaps.
  • Supervise close activities for the North America P&L, ensuring timely and accurate P&L output in close partnership with Products Accounting and Operations Finance.
  • Build relationships with division-level finance leadership through regular interaction and project collaboration.
  • Partner with Product Line Management as primary finance liaison, influencing pricing strategies and commercial terms.
  • Lead capacity planning initiatives in partnership with Operations and Operations Finance teams.
  • Create portfolio optimization frameworks that evaluate product, customer, and market profitability.
  • Design and implement post-investment review processes that drive organizational learning.
  • Act as the Finance Director's primary backup, representing Data Center Finance in executive and senior leadership forums as needed.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams on strategic initiatives, building influence without authority.
  • Design and deliver financial acumen training to non-finance business partners.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives that enhance analytical capabilities.
