About The Position

This role is responsible for leading the monthly General Ledger close process for multiple U.S. legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The Finance Manager will partner with regional leadership to drive finance transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, automation, and system improvements. This position will also support ERP enhancements, system implementations, and new business or project launches across the region. The role involves managing and overseeing month-end close activities within AS400 and SAP environments, coordinating regional Finance and Accounting projects, and leading the accounting team. Additionally, the Finance Manager will prepare audit schedules, support audits, and maintain/improve reporting processes to enhance financial decision-making and identify opportunities for workflow streamlining and control improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including significant General Ledger and month-end close responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or similar financial platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Ability to lead an accounting team providing guidance and motivation to achieve results in a fast paced collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Experience managing accounting activities for multiple legal entities within a manufacturing or multinational environment preferred.
