About The Position

The Finance Manager, Americas will lead the monthly General Ledger close process for multiple U.S. legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role will partner with regional leadership to drive finance transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, automation, and system improvements. The position supports ERP enhancements, system implementations, and new business or project launches across the region. The Finance Manager will manage and oversee month-end close activities within AS400 and SAP environments, coordinate regional Finance and Accounting projects, and lead the accounting team, providing guidance and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Additionally, the role involves preparing audit schedules, supporting internal and external audits, and maintaining/improving reporting processes to support operational and financial decision-making. The Finance Manager will also identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve controls, and enhance financial reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; CPA designation preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including significant General Ledger and month-end close responsibilities.
  • Experience managing accounting activities for multiple legal entities within a manufacturing or multinational environment preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or similar financial platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Ability to lead an accounting team providing guidance and motivation to achieve results in a fast paced collaborative environment
