About The Position

The Finance Leadership Development Program is a two-year, full-time program for developing future Finance leaders at Skydance. Beginning in July 2027, participants complete three eight-month rotations across the Finance organization, receive support from a dedicated mentor, and build financial and leadership skills through meaningful work. Participants also develop a capstone solution to a business problem and present it directly to company leadership. Strong performers who complete the program transition into a full-time Senior Financial Analyst position.

The role includes financial modeling and forecasting, monthly and quarterly close work, reporting, payment processing, business partnership, and development through feedback, executive shadowing, leadership training, and AI training. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States throughout the program, from July 2027 through July 2029.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
• Proper authorization to work in the United States for the full program duration, July 2027 through July 2029.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain complex financial models supporting budgeting, forecasting, and expense optimization.
• Translate KPIs and core business metrics into analyses that inform leadership decisions.
• Identify a business problem, develop a solution, and present a capstone project to company leadership.
• Own high-impact work with guidance from a manager and dedicated mentor.
• Participate in AI training, recurring feedback, executive shadowing, and leadership training.
• Manage components of monthly and quarterly close, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Work with the general ledger and prepare clear, actionable reports.
• Run the quarterly payment process end-to-end.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business leaders to support business planning.
• Respond to ad hoc, high-visibility requests and develop cross-functional working relationships.
