About The Position

AutoZone's Top 100 Internship Program is designed to provide students with challenging, real-world experience in a corporate retail environment. The program offers a 9-week paid, full-time summer internship from June 7 to August 6, 2027, providing meaningful, hands-on work experience, cross-functional job shadowing opportunities, dedicated one-on-one mentorship, and professional and personal development workshops, as well as networking and community service events. The Finance Intern will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, assisting with executing assigned projects. This role involves gaining hands-on experience in financial planning, data analysis, and strategic decision-making. The intern will collaborate across departments to ensure sound financial practices and contribute to key projects impacting the company's bottom line, helping to drive informed business decisions and support AutoZone's continued growth. The intern will collaborate in teams and manage their own projects, working closely with finance professionals, business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring tangible results by the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Applicants must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university during the Summer 2027 internship program (June 7 - August 6, 2027).
• Students who graduate before June 7, 2027, are not eligible for the program.
• Must be able to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the internship.
• Applicants should apply to no more than two internship roles.
• Majors: Accounting, Tax
• Possess advanced technical skills in tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Experience using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, data visualization, financial modeling, and reporting techniques.
