AutoZone 2027 Summer Internship – Merchandising
About The Position
AutoZone's Top 100 Internship Program is designed to provide students with challenging, real-world experience in a corporate retail environment. The program offers a 9-week paid, full-time summer internship (June 7 - August 6, 2027) with meaningful, hands-on work experience, cross-functional job shadowing opportunities, dedicated one-on-one mentorship, and professional and personal development workshops, as well as networking and community service events. Interns will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and assist with executing assigned projects. The role involves supporting merchandising strategies, analyzing product performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and optimize customer experiences.
Requirements
- Applicants must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university during the Summer 2027 internship program (June 7 - August 6, 2027).
- Students who graduate before June 7, 2027, are not eligible for the program.
- Must be able to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the internship.
- Applicants should apply to no more than two internship roles that best align with their interests, skills, and experience.
- Majors sought include: Automotive Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics, Retail Category Management, Marketing, Business Management, International Business, Finance.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive knowledge is a strong plus.
