Finance Intern
About The Position
Mercedes-Benz Vans is seeking a Finance/Accounting intern to support financial and accounting work while gaining practical experience with issues organizations face. The internship is intended for current students and is designed around a work schedule that allows time for school and homework. The intern will work under direct supervision, support senior team members, and may assist with financial planning and accounting analysis. The role also offers exposure to factory planning and engineering processes and to people at all levels of the organization. The position is onsite in Charleston, South Carolina, with a stated start date of November 2026 and a six-month internship duration. The hourly pay rate is $20.00. Mercedes-Benz Vans does not offer assisted living or a relocation package for this assignment.
Requirements
- Be a Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting major pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Have attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end financial activities.
- May assist in analysis, investigation, and research supporting the organization's financial planning needs.
- May assist with classifying, examining, and analyzing accounting records.
- Support senior team members with daily tasks under direct supervision.
- Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Complete special projects as needed.
- Carry out other related responsibilities and ad hoc projects as assigned to support operational effectiveness.
