About The Position

Aerospike is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Intern for Summer 2026 to support its scaling financial infrastructure and strategic planning. This role involves active contribution to financial operations, providing leadership with essential insights and data. The internship offers a deep dive into modern corporate finance, with hands-on experience in financial planning, data automation, and SaaS metrics, utilizing cutting-edge finance technology.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed (2026) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (MBA), or a related quantitative field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, data modeling).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
Ability to manage competing priorities, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to come to Mountain View HQ 3 times per week.

Nice To Haves

Prior internship or relevant coursework in corporate finance, accounting, or data analytics.
Familiarity with modern ERP or financial planning systems.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
A strong interest in the enterprise software / SaaS industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing management presentations, monthly financial reviews, and reports for senior leadership.
Support usage-based billing analysis and automation initiatives, including exploring complex billing data, identifying discrepancies, and helping develop scalable tools to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
Engage with FP&A and Business Intelligence (BI) software for report creation, financial analysis, and data maintenance to ensure absolute reliability in reporting.
Support process modernization initiatives, including exploring and implementing AI-enabled tools and automated finance workflows.
