About The Position

The Finance Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and data management. This position offers a comprehensive learning experience, providing exposure to various financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The intern will contribute to the preparation of financial documents and help ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with financial software or databases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship or work experience in finance or accounting.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data to support business decisions.
• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering relevant data and updating financial models.
• Conduct research on financial trends, market conditions, and competitor performance to inform strategic planning.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the finance team.
