About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our finance team. As an Intern you will establish and maintain meaningful projects in a working environment that will enhance your marketability as well as provide value to the organization through continued networking. You will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers. The Finance Intern supports the finance and warehouse teams in ensuring accurate inventory records through cycle counts and assist with general operational and administrative tasks as needed. Internship will commence in June and end no later than August.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework such as accounting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data organization)
  • Understanding of GAAP analysis
  • Professional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team-driven environment
  • Work with urgency to ensure that inquiries are efficiently managed
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Ability to manage multiple project activities under general supervision
  • Must be organized and detail/deadline oriented
  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, no sponsorship offered at this time
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
  • Must be willing to take a drug test
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Power BI or CRM experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support inventory-related financial controls through proper stock identification, organization, and labelling
  • Perform regular cycle counts of spare parts inventory and ensure accuracy of physical vs. system quantities
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, proposing corrective actions where applicable
  • Assist in maintaining and updating inventory records in ERP systems
  • Collaborate with finance and warehouse teams to ensure proper inventory control compliance
  • Prepare basic reports related to inventory movements and variances
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives related to inventory management
  • Provide support on ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the manager
  • Ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality
