About The Position

FORVIA is looking for a year-round Finance Intern for its location in Madison, MS. Our Seating Division is looking for a Finance Intern for its manufacturing facility in Madison, Mississippi. The main missions of the role are to support the Controller in multi-purpose roles with the Finance Department, track and analyze direct labor, freight, manufacturing costs, and sales and price changes. The intern will also prepare and distribute certain month-end reports for Management, update daily and weekly KPIs (Sales, scrap, FTE flexed, OT analysis, Non-quality costs), and track supplier debits with Quality, PC&L and Purchasing. Additionally, the role involves updating raw material files and costing (rough cut, retro files, new material costing). Other responsibilities include ensuring full respect of HSE rules and regulations, respect for the environment, and securing internal control of the plant. The intern must commit to the highest ethical standards and willingness to promote and adhere to Faurecia’s code of ethics and code of management, support and follow Being Faurecia values and convictions, and follow internal financial KPI’s. The position also involves assisting with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 2.8 GPA
  • Finance/Accounting courses
  • Proficient level in English
  • Ability to resolve problems efficiently & effectively
  • Good people skills, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suits (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
