Bet Tzedek Legal Services is seeking a Finance Grants Analyst to join its Finance team. This role is a key contributor to the organization’s grants management and financial compliance infrastructure and is designed for a highly independent professional capable of managing grant financial processes with limited oversight. The Finance & Grants Analyst is responsible for coordinating and analyzing grant and contract financial activities across public and private funding sources, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, billing, compliance, and reporting in accordance with GAAP, funder requirements, and internal policies. This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in managing workloads, resolving issues, identifying risks, and recommending process improvements that impact grant performance, cash flow, and compliance. The position collaborates closely with program leadership, the grants finance team, and accounting leadership, and regularly engages in analysis, planning, and problem‑solving related to staffing costs, allocations, billing structures, and grant financial forecasting. The role handles confidential salary, contract, and financial data and plays an active role in month‑end close, audits, and funder monitoring activities. This position is eligible for Bet Tzedek Legal Services’ hybrid/remote workplace designation. While the primary workplace is Bet Tzedek’s offices, at the discretion of the immediate supervisor, the employee may be permitted to work remotely or may be required to work in other locations depending on workload and business needs.
