About The Position

Turing is seeking finance experts to work with researchers to improve the performance of AI models. Experts may contribute knowledge from areas such as capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, accounting, and other finance disciplines. No prior AI experience is required.

The role involves evaluating large language models in finance topics where they perform poorly, creating rubrics to assess capabilities in areas such as deal analysis and M&A assessments, and collaborating with AI researchers and other finance experts on training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks. This is a freelance opportunity offering flexible hours, with an anticipated commitment of 10–30 hours per week for approximately one month and possible extension depending on performance and project needs. Work is fully remote, and hourly compensation is approximately $100 or more depending on experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, FP&A, accounting, financial consulting, or another finance role.
• Strong grasp of financial concepts relevant to the candidate’s domain, such as investment analysis, research, forecasting, revenue builds, corporate finance, asset management, and risk management.
• Excellent written communication in English.

Nice To Haves

• CFA (Level I, II, or III).
• CA, CPA, or an MBA in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate large language models in finance areas where model performance is weak.
