About The Position

Turing is seeking finance experts to work with its researchers to improve the performance of AI models. The role spans finance specialties such as capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, and accounting. No prior AI experience is required.

Experts evaluate large language models in areas of finance where the models underperform, develop rubrics to assess model capabilities in specific areas of finance expertise, and collaborate with AI researchers and other finance experts on training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks. This is a freelance opportunity with a flexible commitment of 10–30 hours per week, an expected duration of about one month, and possible extension depending on performance and project needs. Compensation is approximately $100 or more per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a finance role, such as capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quantitative finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, FP&A, accounting, or financial consulting.
• Strong grasp of financial concepts based on area of expertise, including investment analysis, research, forecasting, revenue builds, corporate finance, asset management, or risk management.
• Excellent written communication in English.

Nice To Haves

• CFA (Level I, II, or III).
• CA, CPA, or an MBA in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM models in finance areas where models do not perform well.
• Create rubrics to assess model capabilities in areas of finance expertise, such as deal analysis and M&A assessments.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow finance experts to shape training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks.
